To make an original and wonderful hat, we need:
• newspapers;
• scissors;
• knitting needle (another thin stick);
• glue;
• clothes pegs;
• a circle of cardboard;
• suitable dishes;
• paint;
• varnish;
• decor.
Work Stages:
1. From newspaper sheets it is necessary to make tubes for weaving. We cut the newspaper into equal strips. With one newspaper of 4 large sheets, 16 pages are obtained.
2. Now we start making tubes of newspaper blanks by screwing blanks onto a knitting needle. A few words about the thickness of the knitting needle. The thinner it is, the product is more elegant. We put a spoke to the lower left corner of the strip, fix it and begin to slowly wind it. The tube should turn out pretty strong.
3. We glue the corner with PVA glue.
4. If you start twisting from an angle opposite to which there will be a white strip on the newspaper, then the tube will turn out light, without inscriptions. If there is no white edge on the strip blank, then the tube is colored.
5. Weaving begins. On a cardboard circle we fasten with clothespins 8 tubes in the form of a simple pattern.
6. Next, we introduce one tube, also securing it with a clothespin to the base, and begin to braid in a circle.
7. In the process, build up the tube: insert the thin end into the thick one by adding a drop of glue.
8. The bottom of the hat is ready. All ends are fixed.
9. Attach a bowl. Now you need to fasten the ends with clothespins to the edge of the bowl.
10. Braid the bowl.
11. After passing the desired distance, remove the bowl. The ends are again fixed on a circle of cardboard.
12. We continue to weave the hats around the field to the desired size.
13. Remove the product from the cardboard.
14. We fix the end of the duct from the wrong side.
15. The ends in a circle are cut a little.
16. If desired, the hat can be painted, varnished.
17. Decorate the product. We used a chiffon scarf. The hat is ready.
