To create an asterisk you will need:
- 2 sheets of thin felt (viscose) - green and yellow;
- cotton wool for filling the product;
- green dense threads;
- bright narrow ribbon;
- small decor in the form of stars and flowers (can be replaced with beads);
- scissors, glue, pencil;
- paper for blanks;
- toothpicks or long sticks;
- dry soap;
- needles of different thicknesses.
The work is done in stages. First, you need to make 2 main parts of the product: a star and a wand. The rest of the time will be devoted to decorating the product.
The first step is to create blanks for the main elements of the product. To do this, you will need 1 large sheet of paper, a ruler and a well-sharpened pencil. Draw a medium-sized 5-pointed star and another smaller one. You can use plain paper, but it is better to make blanks from cardboard. Take the scissors and carefully cut the paper stars.
Attach the finished forms to the felt sheet, and circle all the contours with dry soap. For a large star, green felt is suitable, and for a small star, bright yellow. It is necessary to get 2 blanks for each star.
We proceed to the preparation of the first part of the product - the stars. It is necessary to stitch 2 halves of the blanks with green thread. Use an overcast seam with a grip on the thread. Walk along the entire contour of the star, filling the star with cotton. For pushing inside, it is convenient to use a thin stick or a toothpick. As filling, the cotton wool should be straightened and leveled. Between one end of the star, leave room to add a wand.
Ready star can be postponed. Proceed to create a stick for her. Take a sheet of paper and roll it up with a tube, attach it to felt and measure out a piece of the desired size. It is necessary to cut a long rectangle from felt, bend it in half and sew 1 edge with a thread. The seam can be made ordinary, anyway we will turn it inside out.
When the leg is ready, fill it with cotton and leave the upper end open. In addition to cotton wool, you can fill the tube with paper or long sticks tied together. Finished items, a star and a wand, need to be connected. For this, we also use green thread. It is not worth worrying too much for seams and nodules, they can be hidden with a beautiful ribbon.
We decorate the star with a yellow insert in the form of a smaller star, sewing it on top with sweeping stitches. The wand should be wrapped with a ribbon crosswise, tying a beautiful bow at the end. The final decor of the star itself is to stick small beads or small stars and flowers. It is convenient to use baking decorating kits. A pleasant smell will create a special holiday atmosphere.
The decor is glued to the ends of the star. Add a few pieces in the center of the product. A lot of time for drying will not be needed if the glue is good. You can decorate the Christmas tree with festive decor.
