Today we will sew a white mustachioed cat from teenage socks of sizes 22-24.
In order to sew a cat, we need:
• A pair of teenage socks;
• Silicone balls;
• Needle and thread;
• Scissors;
• Black marker.
For decoration:
• White tape – 15 cm;
• Black button – 1 pc.;
• Blue stones – 2 pcs;
• White flower;
• Black floss.
1. Make marks on the socks with a black marker. Using the patterns from the socks we will get a body, muzzle and tail.
2. We cut our socks according to the markings into separate pieces.
3. Sew the head on top and sides, and leave a hole at the bottom for filling. We turn the sock right side out and fill the cat’s head with holofiber. Then we use a stitch to tighten the bottom of the head.
4. Sew the body and leave a hole on one side. Through the unfinished hole, we turn the sock inside out, fill the kitten’s body with the prepared filler and sew the left hole with an invisible seam.
5. In the same way we sew and fill the tail.
6. Next, we sew the head to the body of the cat, and the tail to the butt.
7. Now we start decorating the kitten, namely, we sew the eyes, nose to ear with flower glue. We make a beautiful bow from a white ribbon and tie it around the kitten’s neck. A bright pink or red bow will look more expressive.
8. To make the image of the cat look complete, you need to highlight the paws in black. For this we need black floss. We sew the legs from bottom to top. To make it easier, you can draw stripes with a regular black marker.
9. Draw the cat’s mouth with a marker and sew on antennae from black floss.
That's it, the cat is ready.
