For work you will need:
- beads;
- thin fishing line or wire;
- scissors.
It is worth noting that the younger the child, the larger beads (or even beads) must be used. The choice between fishing line or wire depends solely on what the snowflake is woven for. If you use it to decorate your costume, it is better to use a fishing line. In the case of creating decorations for the New Year tree, you should take as a basis the wire, which perfectly retains the shape of a snowflake in a suspended form.
So, let's get to work. Weaving will be done in rows, there will be five in total. First we tie a knot.
1 row. We put 12 beads on a fishing line and close it in a circle, as shown in the photo.
2 row. Now we string 3 beads each and enter through one bead of the previous row to make six triangles.
At the end, we bring the line out through the first and second beads of the second row.
3 row. We collect 5 beads on a fishing line and enter the triangle of the previous row at each vertex. Get a flower.
At the end, we bring the line out through the first and second beads of the third row.
4 row. To weave this row, we will again collect 3 beads and enter them alternately: then through one, then through three beads of the previous row.
At the end, we draw the line through the first bead of the fourth row.
5 row. This is the last row, for the weaving of which it is necessary to collect 5 beads and introduce the fishing line into the third bead of the fourth row, the fourth and fifth bead of the third row, the top of the triangle of the second row, the sixth and seventh bead of the third row, the seventh bead of the fourth row. Next, fix the fishing line, and the snowflake is ready!
