It often happens that the inscriptions on T-shirts that we like and make us buy, after several washes, are simply erased, and the result is something incomprehensible. This happened to me too. But, there is an affordable, uncomplicated and very quick way to fix everything, namely, decorate a T-shirt with sequins.
There are 2 options: you can embroider the inscription with sequins, but if it is not so dear to you, you can make drastic changes. Hiding a worn or simply boring inscription is not that difficult, but it will take some time.
You will need:
• - sequins to match the color, but it should be slightly different, otherwise the sequins will simply merge with the T-shirt;
• - scissors;
• - needle;
• - threads, preferably synthetic, but this does not matter;
• -nylon fabric, even old bows will do;
• - beads, or pearl beads, whatever you have will do.
Instructions
First you need to make flowers from nylon fabric. The technology for their manufacture is simple, and anyone can easily master it.Fold the ribbon lengthwise and gather it on one side, as shown in the picture, and assemble it into a flower, similar to the one in the picture.
It is not necessary to make flowers using this technique; absolutely any flowers will do; it is desirable, of course, that they be voluminous, because this is exactly what we are trying to achieve - to hide the inscription.
Sew the flowers you made so that they hide the inscription as much as possible, leaving space between them. This way they will look much more organic than stuck closely.
After sewing on the flowers, you can start marking the T-shirt. We draw in chalk the lines along which the sequins will be embroidered. In this matter, you can completely surrender to your imagination. She will help you.
Having done everything and prepared the T-shirt, you can proceed to the most interesting part - embroidery. One by one, sew the sequins close to each other.
At this point the main work is finished, but you can still do some magic and add some details at your discretion. Sequins attached with beads look very impressive, beads transform the whole work, and if you have the desire and patience, you can add them, but I decided to give preference and “scatter” pearl-like beads over the T-shirt and over the sewn flowers.
