» »Mode" milk porridge "in the POLARIS multicooker
So, after listening to my friends and acquaintances that this is a miracle device, I decide to keep up with them and also get this miracle machine. In general, I chose - I chose, I chose a POLARIS multicooker. This model was relatively reasonable, namely about four thousand rubles. Of course, I have no experience in choosing household appliances, but if you are still faced with a choice and want to buy this unit, I sincerely do not advise you to take this model as I have.

Slow cooker

I will not tell everything and why, we take a specific minus: the lack of a regime for the preparation of milk porridge. If you try to cook milk porridge, then it quickly runs away, after which the crock-pot turns into something terrible. This problem occurs because boiling milk needs a slightly lower temperature than water. What can you do here? Actually, I decided to “adjust” the sensors a little, thereby lowering the shutdown limit of the heating element.
In a nutshell about the operation of the device. The heating element heats the pan. Heats up until the microcontroller turns it off. And he will turn it off when the resistance at the sensors is below the threshold. In this model, there are two sensors: one in the middle of the heating element (it touches the pan) and the second is built into the top cover.
My idea is this: it is tedious to reduce the resistance of the sensor, thereby lowering the threshold for the shutdown threshold of the heating element. For this, I decided to introduce a switch mode with a resistor

scheme

It should be connected to one of the sensors, be careful: I work on different sensors in different modes. I chose the lower sensor, so it works in the "porridge" mode, more precisely, both sensors work in this mode. The resistance of the resistor was selected experimentally, it was 33 kOhm.

We drill a hole with scissors (the plastic is very soft) and insert the Soviet switch.

Everything works, milk does not run away.
In conclusion, I will say that such modernization can be implemented in any multicooker where there is no such regime.

author, the quality of installation is depressing for you. there are beautiful round keys or touch buttons for 5 volts on sale. and so-the collective farm ... it's like the blue scribblers on the Lada of our natives from the south ..

By the way, about warranty repairs, in which case, you can forget .. although, I will tell you a secret, they have something that deteriorates, so it is a thermal fuse (on one of the power wires) or R21 (3.9MOhm) on the power board - it is treated by replacement!

I have the same multicooker. Milk cereals are cooked in the RIS mode (Soaked rice), and so that the milk does not run away, you just need to grease the top of the pan with butter.

The idea is right. The photos helped me a lot to figure out how to connect the sensors (yellow and blue). If the connection is wrong, the small resistor and the transistor controlling it through it burn out. I will repeat the alteration.

It is important to know which of the sensors to use and the rating to determine. And not a glamorous button with fixation to steam.
